Logline: A young Spaniard seeks fortune in Cuba during U.S. Prohibition at the height of the sugar industry to support his sick mother. When a deceitful coworker blackmails him into stealing from the sugar mill and a spirited Cubana captivates him, he must choose between wealth and true love.
Story was inspired by my maternal grandparents.
