Sprinkles of tropical rain greeted me on my predawn beach walk.
I went a different route, in search of a different beach access point.
Ocean trash today…
No these are not laundry baskets. They are baskets used on fishing boats to cart fish around deck.
I know this because I was a fishery observer on a couple of boats in Alaska. We used blue baskets – they were a calibrated scientific tool used to get weights and volume of fish.
I didn’t collect the baskets, but it looks like from this pile of debris, my neighbors are trying to do their part too.
Post walk I am eager to enjoy an outdoor shower in my patio. My favorite part of my rental.
