Day 6 – My pad in paradise

My pad in paradise is a large studio/mother-in-law unit. Supposedly, it is where the owner lives when he is “on island” – the rest of the house he rents long term.

The photo here is what I call my “living room.”

Across from the living room is the kitchen. If you don’t see a refrigerator it is because it is outside on the patio – a common thing here in the Islands. The washer/dryer are also outside but are shared with the other tenants and located outside my front gate.

Past the living room/kitchen area is the bedroom/office. It is a comfy king size bed and the office is made up of a corner desk and two level filing cabinet which I cleaned out and made into a dresser.

The odd sized bathroom is off the bedroom.

There are many odd things about this place, but it is growing on me.

I love the outdoor shower and patio with a Koi pond.

And I love the neighborhood and its proximity to the beach.
